Welcome To The World Olivia

A little older than most of our newborn babies, gorgeous little Olivia was just 5 weeks old when she visited our photography studio in Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

I just love meeting new parents who just can't take their eyes of their new baby. We always start our sessions with family photos and then give Mummy and Daddy the chance to relax with some delicious snacks while they enjoy the rest of the photoshoot.

Aww look how much Mummy and Daddy adore baby Olivia. What a privilege it was to capture their first official family photo.

At 5 weeks old, Olivia was quite alert and kept a keen eye on what was going on, this gave me the chance to capture this beautiful moment with Mummy.

It was time for Olivia to have her photos on her own so, while she was still awake, we caught her beautiful eyes on camera. With the simple backdrop it makes it all about her gorgeous face.

Our trusted Baby Shusher then worked it's magic with soothing sounds to relax baby Olivia, and it worked a treat for the rest of us in the studio too.

It wasn't long before the comfort of a warm studio and a super snug scene had her sleeping like...well... a baby. This gave me the perfect opportunity to get in close and photograph the little details. Tiny baby fingers and dimples are just so precious.

With a subtle hint of colour this has to be one of my favourite photos from Olivia's newborn photoshoot. Sleeping so sweetly this is all about Olivia and her tiny fingers and toes.

With time in between feeding and soothing, we had the opportunity to set up our teeny tiny baby bed. All snug in her wrap this is one to melt your heart over and over again.

Thank you to Olivia for all the cuddles and gorgeous photo. I'm already looking forward to her free little sitter session when I can photograph this next milestone and hopefully steal another cuddle or two.
