Why Printing Your Images Is So Important

The portrait packages in our photography studio in Morley, Leeds, all include digital images, and we strongly believe that having printed copies of your photos is so much better. Let's have a look at all the reasons why printing your images is so important.

In short, because......

  • your prints are for today, tomorrow and all the tomorrows after that
  • prints remind us of what love really feels like
  • prints bring back those moments into our lives and they are tangible and easily accessible.
  • they give children a sense of security and belonging when the photos are displayed throughout their own home

To celebrate the launch of our all-new Newborn Portrait packages (with wall art voucher included), we're offering you a massive 25% off the new packages (1&2) - that's a saving of up to £112.50!*

The photos aren't just for you

Harsh but true. The wall art and prints that you invest in are for your children and their children. They'll be able to hold it in their hands knowing you did as well. Looking through photos that used to belong to my grandma makes me all warm inside. Knowing I'm holding and looking at the same photos she held and loved, remembering the stories attached to each one keeps those family memories alive. That connection through the photos to her legacy is more real than a digital file could ever be.

You've already invested your time

You've spent time researching and choosing a photographer that's right for you and your family. You've prepared for your newborn or family photoshoot paying close attention to outfits, hair and making sure your session is perfectly timed so the kids can squeeze in a nap just before. You have fun, create gorgeous memories and the photos are beautiful - so why hide them on a computer where they are out of sight and out of mind? Photographs have the greatest impact when they are visible! Like any work of art, a photograph adds meaning and memory to your environment. The best way to do this is to leave your photos in a place where they can become a part of your environment, whether that’s on a wall, an album, or a box on a coffee table.

Digital images can get lost

With the abundance of digital images that we all have, whether taken ourselves on our phones or camera, or by a professional, it's difficult to keep track of all the photos with precious ones becoming part of the digital pile. Phones can be lost and hard drives can fail and the memories they hold will also be lost. Printing your favourite images will take some time and there will be a cost involved but this doesn't compare to losing those memories.

Wall Art

We offer the option of beautiful wall art with all our photoshoot packages, selected by us from a high-quality, UK-based, photography printing labs. They are not available on the high street making your investment even more special. You can have a look at our Wall Art Guide and think about how great these pieces will look in your home.

Whether you ask us to create bespoke wall art for you, or you decide to organise your own printing - make sure your memories are placed where you can see them, and where they can raise a smile.
